Prevent Bed Wetting

Try the reward system. Give your child a special something in the morning as a reward for dry nights.  Whenever he has an accident, have him change the sheets himself.  Careful not to embarrass him.  Help him practice holding his bladder during the day.

You may also want to try a pad that you can use and place on your child’s mattress. The alarm goes off when it gets wet.  It costs around $100.

Every single time that you fly across time zones, your body’s circadian rhythm is distracted and it results to jet lag. Jet lag is not a problem, but a stress to the body that is but managable.  Here is another healthy tip that you could make use of the next time you travel through time zones.

First is avoid drinking alcohol anytime during your flight. Alcohol will give your body more stress than it will actually have to go through.  It can aggravate fatigue and lethargy. Caffeine should also be avoided.  Everybody knows that caffeine can cause a person to be restless if taken in large doses.  It also acts as a diuretic, which will not be wise.  You cannot afford to be dehydrated during jet lag.  Drink as much water as you can.  Your body should be well hydrated to lessen the risk of fatigue.

fruits-and-veggiesThe key is to have them start early.  If you choose not to start early then it will be more of a challenge.  Make sure that the fruits and vegetables are part of the main dish and not just as a side dish. This will get them to realize that it is not just an option but the primary food.

Always add fruits and vegetables to cooked meals.  Puree the veggies and fruits whenever needed.  Add fruits and veggies to cookies and cakes and even make some shakes and juices with fresh fruits and vegetables in them.

Hypochondria

hypochondriaHypochondria is defined by Meriam-Webster as the extreme depression of mind or spirits often centered on imaginary physical ailments. It is normal to worry about getting some serious ailments sometime. But when it becomes a morbid obsession, it literally becomes a psychological problem, such as what you call a hypochondriac.

Do you know that one out of ten people who visit the doctors’ office have this pyschological problem to some degree. And a third have emotional problems that springs out physically. It is then safe to conclude that most sicknesses are actually avoidable.
