Must Read for Diabetic Patients
Posted on Jan 23, 2012 under health tips, Healthy Living | No CommentDiabetic patients should take extra care of themselves; their food intake must be controlled, as well as their activities. Maintenance drugs are also taken daily for palliative care and to prevent further complications of their condition.
For other diabetic patients who failed to take necessary precautions, amputation has been in their list of options to control the spread of their disease. During amputation, part of their body, most commonly, the limb is taken away (cut) or amputated. In this process, sharp blades, similar to concrete blades, are used to cut the limb while the patient is anesthetized to make them feel numb and not feel the pain during the entire process of amputation.
So, for those patients who are still in the early stage of diabetes, remember that prevention is still the best cure.
