Relaxation Controls Seizures

Relaxation can help epileptic patients control their seizures.  This is the new approach that was discovered by Adrienne Richard.  He uses mind-body techniques instead of taking pills that are anticonvulsants.   The kind of breathing done for this kind of medical condition is deep diaphragmatic meditation. It allows the patient to take control of the seizure, instead of having the seizure take control of the patient.

The same theory is done with lamaze method.  A method of childbirth, wherein the patient will have a partner help focus on relaxation techniques instead of the seizure.  It minimizes the seizure effects and allows the patient to feel in control of the situation.
