There are always risks when a family chooses to keep a pet inside the house. This is especially true if there is a baby inside the house. As trained as an animal can be, it should never be left alone in the house with a child or a baby. Some even have more than one pet. If pets should at all stay indoors, they should have a place of their own, with their own pet beds and not share the room with children.
