Even before, the government was already very much concerned with the health of every citizen. Noticing that most of the sources of pollution are vehicles cuffing off large amount of fumes, they mandated an anti- smoke belching campaign, apprehending every driver who will fail the smoke density test.
People who do field works and sales jobs, spending almost 12 hours a day outside often have higher risk of developing diseases such as tuberculosis and asthma because they inhale most of the smog caused by these careless drivers. But then again, with the actions taken by responsible authorities; catching the violators, offering medical check ups and prescribing medicines for the affected, the public becomes assured that they are taken cared of.
