Sleeping Later Reduces Stress

Did you know that sleeping later reduces stress. In a study of 42 people at the University of Westminster, London, people who woke up after 7:21 a.m. had lower blood levels of the stress hormone cortisol than those who woke up earlier.

This condition was true even if the people were waken up suddenly at a later time or went to bed later than usual. The best explanation is the body’s natural clock.
